The EBU Mediterranean Leadership Summit will take place on 16 October 2025 at the Palazzo Reale in Naples, co-organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and RAI – Radiotelevisione Italiana, in the framework of the MED Dialogues. This high-level gathering will bring together Directors General, CEOs, and Presidents of Public Service Broadcasters from across the Mediterranean to strengthen cooperation and shape future agendas around public service media (PSM) priorities.
The Summit will highlight the vital role of PSM in promoting democratic values, intercultural understanding, and peace-building. In addition, PSM leaders from the Mediterranean region will contribute to the Culture pillar of the MED Dialogues through a dedicated session on cultural diplomacy in the multimedia sector.
MED Dialogues is the leading annual conference on the Mediterranean, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ISPI (Italian Institute for International Political Studies) . The MED Dialogues aim to bring in new ideas and suggestions to draft a “positive agenda” for the region, tackling security and socio-economic challenges through common visions.
Set against the symbolic backdrop of Naples, a cultural epicentre of Mediterranean history, the 2025 Summit carries the theme: “The Mediterranean: A Meeting Place.”
