Who gets prominence!?

Join us on 9 June for the policy event Who gets prominence!? Ensuring audiences can’t miss the media that matters in the AVMSD. With the European Commission undertaking a highly anticipated review of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive (AVMSD) in the second half of 2026, there is a unique opportunity to create meaningful EU legislation around the prominence of general interest media. At this event, we will showcase the ongoing struggle for prominence, explore what effective prominence measures could look like, and discuss how the AVMSD could be shaped for the better.
