Kids' Documentary and Drama Series 2026 Annual Screenings
Contact us
Once all the films composing both the Kids’ Documentary and Drama series are completed, all co-producers are invited to join a collective screening meeting.
The 2026 EBU Kids’ Documentary and Drama Series Annual Screenings meeting will take place from Tuesday 1 December to Thursday 3 December in Podgorica, Montenegro, at the kind invitation of RTCG.
This meeting is the last internal viewing of the films before they are officially released or delivered to the network and further on to the audience. This meeting is attended by key stakeholders such as producers, directors, editors, network executives, and sometimes marketing or legal representatives.
- Full Viewing: the completed film - often called the “final cut” - is watched to ensure it meets creative, technical, and contractual standards.
- Final Feedback: attendees may give last-minute feedback, though at this stage, only minor tweaks (if any) are usually considered.
- Approval: the film may be officially approved or "locked" for release, meaning no further changes will be made.
- Delivery & Release Planning: final discussions may also include delivery specs, promotional coordination, or broadcast scheduling.
It’s essentially a quality control step that ensures everyone signs off on the finished product before it goes public, and also a way for all involved participants to celebrate after a year working together.
Practical information will be shared in due time.
