The Eurosonic Festival has become a favourite amongst artists, public broadcasters, music professionals and music lovers to discover and showcase exciting new up-and-coming acts. Past festivals have included appearances by such artists as Franz Ferdinand, Phoenix, First Aid Kit, Selah Sue, Arlo Parks, and many others.
Initially launched in 1986 as a one-day event to promote Dutch and Belgian bands, EBU radio stations joined the party in 1999. With the help of our partners ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) and Europe's public service broadcasters, the Eurosonic Festival has grown into a 3-day extravaganza.
The 2026 edition took place on 14-17 January in Groningen, with 32 public service radio stations supporting 36 acts. The offer is available in MUS under RM/2025/12/03/01-36, as well as our 'Back to the Future: ESNS at 40' offer, available under RM/2025/12/04/01-08. Non-EBU Acts are available under RM/2026/02/02/01-07.
