"New Talent" music awards finals

“Once heard, never forgotten” was how one music critic described the astonishing Danish accordionist Bjarke Mogensen, winner of Euroradio’s 2012 New Talent Competition

The Euroradio New Talent competition aims to encourage and promote young musicians through radio, by the organization of public concerts that are broadcast by Member organizations of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Candidacies from young musicians can be submitted either by EBU Member organizations or by any Members of the IMC or European Music Council (EMC).

For the 2013 New Talent, devoted to the violin, the public finals will take place in Bratislava with a symphony orchestra and an internationally renowned conductor on 7 October as part of the Euroradio Concert Season.
