Concertino Praga competition: live broadcast

The International Radio Competition for Young Musicians Concertino Praga, which has been organized by Czech Radio since 1966, concentrates on young beginning performers aged 18 or under. The competition is held in different categories in a three-year cyle, each year either in the categories violin, piano, cello and guitar, woodwinds such as flute, oboe, clarinet and trumpet, or in the chamber music category, either performed in a duo or a quintet. A National Radio Competition Concertino Praga takes place ahead of the international competition. A five-member jury chooses the best candidates, who advanced to the international round and represent the Czech Republic there. Candidates may enter the Competition via Euroradio Members, International Music Council (IMC) or European Music Council (EMC).

Finals of Concertino Praga Competition 2014 will take place in Prague, on 8-9 February.

A concert gala will be broadcast live for Euroradio Members on June 22.
