News Contacts Meeting 2017

The Eurovision News Contacts Meeting brought together delegates from news, sports, special events and digital media for two days of sharing, learning and networking. The Editorial Subcommittee welcomed participants to the 2017 meeting taking place in Rome, Italy.

The meeting took place at the beautiful A.Roma Hotel, which is conveniently located only 20 minutes from Fiumicino airport.

The first day of the 2-day networking event started at 9:30 CET on 18 May and included sessions on Digital Transformation in the Newsroom and our User Generated Content Verification Network (UGCVN). The second day focused on practical aspects of the EVN Exchange and ended with a hands-on UGC workshop.
