4th Data Journalists Workshop

Data experts from across the broad EBU Membership meet regularly to develop, strengthen and share knowledge of how data can support their public service news reporting.

During these encounters, they enrich their strong editing, writing, and analytical skills along with their data visualization capabilities.

Members of this group use data to produce long-form reports, opinion pieces, article programmes, narrative and messaging decks, infographics, and related multimedia and social media content.

There is also a biannual Global Investigative Journalism Conference in Hamburg from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th that might be of interest to some of you.See https://gijc2019.org/

Purpose

Meet with the Members interested in data journalism, in order to see where we are and how we could benefit from each other. We will hear examples from Members.

Who should join

Data journalists, people interested in data journalism, people working on online stories, people working with graphics, statisticians, online editors, etc.
