Workshop "Competition Law in the Digital Economy"

This course discusses the challenges that digitization poses to competition enforcement. Participants will gain an understanding of the basics of competition law, including market definition, exclusionary practices and tools antitrust authorities have at their disposal to remedy harm to competition. Key concepts will be explained against the background of the ongoing process of reform of competition law, which focuses on data-driven markets and online platform practices.
