Trustworthy Information in a Pandemic: How can media raise the bar?

‘Trustworthy information in a pandemic: how can media raise the bar?' brings together the World Health Organization, the European Commission and media to discuss how to accelerate the fight against disinformation in relation to COVID-19.

The virtual panel session will look at the impact of disinformation during the pandemic, the reality of fighting disinformation for media reporting on the pandemic and will put forward best practices to combat the problem.

The session will also cover how, in a rapidly changing environment, EU policies and laws can quickly hit the right targets.
