Creating gaming content for kids isn't easy and needs special approach. It has to be entertaining, inspiring, educational and engaging, all this in a safe space.

In this workshop co-organized with the Future Media Hubs' Game Hub (a VRT initiative, in close collaboration with RTBF), Members interested in gaming for kids will learn more about kids' behaviour towards games, the different approaches to gaming as well as what to consider when embarking on the gaming journey.

On the agenda:

  • Setting the scene on kids attitudes towards gaming; GWI (based on data from their 2022 Gen Alpha Report)
  • Studio 100 approach to gaming, Studio 100, Belgium
  • CBeebies approach to gaming; BBC, United Kingdom
  • DR Kids' games and DR, Yle, VRT's Euroblox.
  • Q&A and discussion

Please note that as we are joining forces with the Future Media Hubs, this event is open to EBU Members as well as to the Future Media Hubs' external community.

This meeting will be recorded and made available afterwards, as well as the presentations from the meeting.
