After a successful 2022 edition, EBU Fiction will be back at the MIA Market in Rome (Italy) for the 2023 sequel of its Experts Plenary Meeting which will take place on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 October 2023.

Wednesday 11 October:
- 11:00 to 12:00: Joint panel EBU/MIA: Meet some colleagues from European Public Broadcasters, they have groundbreaking news to share with you all. Don't miss this exciting session!
- 14:00 to 18:30*: Inspirational sessions on Artificial Intelligence (AI), insights on the fiction markets/trends through in-depth analyses by trends watchers and more.
Thursday 12 October:
- 9:00 - 11:30*: Two workshops tackling with branding of PSM-content on third party platforms & the use of social media in the fiction field,

11:30 - 13:00*: In depth dive into Young Adults audiences and more.

Practical details
Attendance to the EBU Fiction Experts plenary is free of charge.
Additionally, EBU Members' drama representatives are encouraged to attend MIA Market (incl. the Drama Pitching Forum) for which they can benefit from a preferential rate (150 EUR).

There is no pre-booked accommodation, but Rome offers a lot of opportunities. Considering the meeting's venues (Cinema Barberini and Hotel Sinae Bernini Bristol), we recommend finding a hotel in the Palazzo Barberini and/or Vittorio Veneto areas of the city.
