The 2024 Spring sequel of the EBU Documentary Experts meeting/pitching session will take place in London, U.K. on Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 June 2024 at the kind invitation of the BBC.
Besides our regular projects pitches, this meeting will also be an opportunity for Members joining to discuss the “revamped” Eurovision Documentary Scheme. Colleagues from BBC will also talk about AI.

Attendance policy
- For the pitches, the presence of the Lead Broadcaster is mandatory while producers and/or filmmaker’s attendance is optional.
- When joining physically, Independent Producers will only be able to attend during the time block of their pitches (please refer to the attached agenda). They will not be able to stay for the lunches and for the group discussions which are strictly for the EBU Documentary Group members/Broadcasters’ representatives.
- All pitches related costs are to be supported by either the Lead Broadcaster or filmmakers directly.
Important note
On both days, delegates will need to reach the venue at least an hour before the start of the meeting to undergo the mandatory security controls at the entrance of BBC Broadcasting House. Delegates will need to present a valid ID or passport at entrance. Please mind this when making your travel arrangements making sure not to not arrive at the very last moment and avoid carrying luggage and dangerous items/goods with you.
