Education Summary 2022: Providing Vital Access and Support for Learners

Education is now a core value for public service media, especially in the last few years. In this new education summary, we gathered data from a recent survey, in which 15 members answered our questionnaire, to analyse and measure our Members' coverage and identify the latest trends in educational broadcasting. The preliminary report outlined some key topics, including partnerships, specialist offerings for some students and media literacy. A list of Education case studies is also available for Members to find inspiration on how to produce educational programmes for children.

The summary was recently launched during a Members-only online workshop where leading figures in educational broadcasting gathered to discuss current and future challenges.

The new paper hopes to encourage broadcasters to consider their future educational strategies.
