Euroradio presents Easter music special this Sunday

Thanks to EBU Radio Members, for the second consecutive year, Euroradio is pleased to be able to offer a special day devoted to music for Holy Week and Easter. This broadcast of ten concerts on Sunday, 17 April 2011 from 7.45 to 22.00 GMT will feature instrumental and vocal sacred music centred on Holy Week and Easter from a wide variety of periods and styles, performed at venues in Vatican City, Australia, Romania (Byzantine Orthodox tradition), Spain, the Netherlands, Latvia, Belgium, Sweden, Britain and Germany.
With an average of 16 radio broadcasters per concert and an estimated audience of 2.7 million listeners per concert, this day will enable participating EBU Members to offer their listeners the following works:
