Internet Governance Forum 2011
28 September 2011The 6th Annual Internet Governance Forum is currently taking place in Nairobi, Kenya (27-30 September 2011) at the United Nations Office of Nairobi (UNON). The theme of this year's meeting is: 'Internet as a catalyst for change: access, development, freedoms and innovation'.

The Internet Governance Forum is an annual event organized by the United Nations to discuss ways of guiding the Internet across the world. Regulations for technology, content, and business are national, and yet the Internet is worldwide system. Trying to solve the tensions that occur in the interests of the world's public is the task of the IGF.
