Radio: International Relations Group Meeting in Lisbon

On 10 October 2011, the EBU International Relations Group is meeting in Lisbon at the kind invitation of Radio and Television of Portugal.
Under the leadership of the Chair, Uta von Reeken (DEBR), and the Vice-Chair, Margit Desch (ATORF), the current Group members were joined by the new members elected for the period 2012-2013.
Discussions will focus essentially on the tasks and responsibilities of International Relations Departments in public service broadcasting organizations, covering all areas such sports and news, new media, music exchange, Nordic-Baltic cooperation, mini-network, as well as on planning the next Music Seminar which will take place in 2012.
