RAI executive joins EBU TV Committee

Ennio Chiodi, the vice-director of RAI 3, has been elected to the EBU TV Committee for a one year term.
The vote was taken on April 18th at the 2012 Eurovision TV Summit, which was attended by 500 delegates in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In addition to his managerial responsibilities at RAI, Mr Chiodi is an author, a part-time university professor and was involved in the production of the popular Italian television program, The Fact.
He replaces Antonio Ribeiro (RTP) who has been a member of the TV Committee since 2008. Committee chairman Ruurd Bierman (NPO) said the priority is to help Members plan strategies for the future. "From entertainment to science and education; from documentaries to fiction and animation series, the Committee helps facilitate the exchange of programme ideas and best practices leading to high-quality coproductions."
The Committee, which will be re-elected in 2013, comprises:
