Nick Cave 'Straight to You'…

NIck Cave

… live from Berlin on 13 February, thanks to ARD-RBB Radio Eins (Germany) and the Eurosonic partnership.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are back with a brand-new album, and they have chosen Euroradio and the EBU Eurosonic radio stations to help launch it.

"Push the Sky Away", their 15th album, was recorded in a 19th-century mansion in the south of France.

More than 30 years ago, a band of moody Australians moved to London, changed their name to the Birthday Party and created havoc in the music business.

Now, in 2013, their leader Nick Cave has become one of his generation's pre-eminent singer-songwriters, up there with the likes of Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits.

The wild and passionate singer will front the Admiralpalast stage with his Bad Seeds … not to mention with strings and a choir.

A truly mesmerizing and fascinating concert

The show will be relayed to many European countries, including Slovenia, Austria, France, Germany, Portugal, Czech Republic, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland and Belgium, offering  a unique opportunity for hundreds of thousands of people to listen to a great artist, live and direct.

The band will premiere the new album, with strings and a choir at one-off shows in London, Paris, Los Angeles and Berlin.

As Nick Cave once said: “I love rock 'n' roll. I think it's an exciting art form. It's revolutionary. Still revolutionary and it changed people. It changed their hearts."
