The Euroradio Ars Acustica group has launched 2013 Palma Ars Acustica Competition. All the information should be sent to Sibylle Förster by 15 March at 18.00 CET.
The Palma Ars Acustica (PAA) is a biennial and international competition organized by the Euroradio Ars Acustica group in order to promote, foster and honour outstanding productions of authors in the world of Ars Acustica (radio art, sound art, media art, text sound compositions, electroacoustic music, electronics, live electronica, etc.).
Each broadcasting organization (Euroradio Members and broadcasting corporations regularly represented in the Euroradio Ars Acustica Group) participating in the PAA should be represented by a delegate at teh final voting session. This year, the final voting session will be kindly hosted by DEWDR and will take place in Cologne on 27 April 2013, after the Euroradio Ars Acustica Plenary Meeting (on 25 and 26 April 2013).
Each broadcasting organization may present one or more works, for a maximum duration (for all works presented) of 60 minutes of Ars Acustica. The work must have been composed no more than two years prior to the session. Recordings must be uploaded by your organization to the EBU on the M2M System by March 2013.
A pink offer gathering all presented works will be issued by the EBU by 31 March.
After having listened to the five best works, participants will attribute the 2013 Prix Palma and two honourable mentions.
