The Euroradio Drama Group met on Friday, 22 March, in an exceedingly wet but nice Dublin.

The meeting was held at the kind invitation of RTÉ (Ireland).

The Head of Radio Christian Vogg first presented the new Media Department and gave an overview of the on-going Euroradio activities and projects (a soon-to-be-launched video sharing platform; a Members' survey of Apps; the state of Digital Radio in Europe, etc.).

Marie Wennersten (SR/Sweden), Chair of the Drama Group, also presented the main findings of a pan-European survey about the situation of radio fiction amongst EBU Members.

Group members then worked on the agenda and content of the next Euroradio Drama Workshop, to be held in Stockholm in June 2015 at the invitation of Swedish Radio.

The following main topics were identified:

-         How to attract new audiences;

-         How to make the most of the digital world;

-         How to keep the "money holders" on side;

-         How to market and promote Drama;

-         How and why to remain topical
