Eurovision Song Contest Final line-up sealed

Malmö, 16 May 2013 – The last ten acts going through to this year’s Eurovision Song Contest Final have been selected following tonight's Semi-Final, which was broadcast live from Sweden’s Malmö Arena.

In alphabetical order, viewers and professional jurors representing 17 countries chose:

  • Armenia: Lonely Planet by Dorians
  • Azerbaijan: Hold Me by Farid Mammadov
  • Finland: Marry Me by Krista Siegfrids
  • Georgia: Waterfall by Nodi Tatishvili & Sophie Gelovani
  • Greece: Alcohol Is Free by Koza Mostra featuring Agathon Iakovidis
  • Hungary: Kedvesem by ByeAlex
  • Iceland: Ég Á Líf by Eyþór Ingi
  • Malta: Tomorrow by Gianluca
  • Norway: I Feed You My Love by Margaret Berger
  • Romania: It's My Life by Cezar

The Final will be transmitted live over the Eurovision and Euroradio networks to Europe and beyond, by Swedish EBU Member, SVT. The running order of acts in the Final will this year be determined by the organizers.

Viewers from the 39 countries participating in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest will vote for their favourite songs via a televoting system, which will open once all contestants have performed. In addition, professional juries from each of the countries will have a 50 per cent stake in the outcome. The professional juries each comprise six representatives.

It was the song Euphoria, sung by Loreen that brought home the trophy for Sweden and the right to host this year's event. In the wake of her triumph, Loreen has risen to pan-European pop stardom, topping charts across the continent over the past year.

EBU Executive Supervisor, Jon Ola Sand, said the Final promised to be a great evening of top-quality entertainment.

“Nations will come together on Saturday night to share in the Final of the 58th Eurovision Song Contest, the must-see entertainment event of the year,” he said. “It will be an unforgettable experience for everyone, from the fans in the Malmö Arena to the countless millions who will follow the show at home and among friends.”
