The Euroradio International Relations community meets in Cavtav

The annual Euroradio International Relations Plenary Meeting took place in Cavtat at the kind invitation of Croatian Radio.
During the two-day meeting, the representatives of Radio Members responsible for relaying information from the EBU within their own organization discussed their work. This consists of dealing with all Euroradio operations in news, sport and music, providing international assistance for their colleagues from abroad (booking studios, making available archives and recording visiting foreign orchestras) and, for many of them, representing their organization vis-à-vis national and international third parties in the political sphere or civil society. Participants were updated on the following topics:
- activities of their colleagues and of the Euroradio International Relations Group, e.g.:
- International Relations Code of Practice
- International Relations Directory
- International Relations web pages in the EBU Community
- activities of the EBU Media Department in music (classical, jazz and Eurosonic), news, sport, World War I project
- recent developments in Euroradio technical areas, such as M2M, ISDN versus AoIP and discussions on visual and hybrid radio
- EBU Statutes Group activities, EBU Brussels Office and EBU 2020 Vision
- Integrated Media Production Strategies as presented by the Eurovision Academy
- policy of URTI, COPEAM and the Anna Lindh Foundation
The meeting concluded with the election of a new Euroradio International Relations Group for a two-year term.
