Euroradio Summer Festivals: Live concerts every day, all summer
16 June 2014
Starting today (16 June), Euroradio Summer Festivals will offer over 360 exceptional live concerts from the most prestigious festivals throughout Europe, including Bayreuth, BBC Proms, Lucerne, Salzburg, Chorégies d’Orange and more.
Every day until 14 September, a minimum of 2 live concerts, offered by participating EBU Member Radios, will be broadcast.
This year promises to be particularly special with the celebration of three notable anniversaries: Richard Strauss’ 150th birthday, C.P.E. Bach’s 300th birthday and the 250th anniversary of Jean-Philippe Rameau’s death.
On 28 June, Euroradio is also offering to Radio Members the Eurovision Sarajevo Concert, commemorating the beginning of World War I. This event will as well be available as a live video stream on the Euroradio 2See platform.
All concerts are technically coordinated from the Euroradio Control Centre in Geneva, under the supervision of Robert Cutliffe and Nicky Dinca who, as every year, are assisted by Euroradio engineers sent to Geneva by EBU Member organisations. This year, Euroradio Summer Concerts welcome:
