EBU Knowledge Exchange: A meeting point for audience experts

EBU Knowledge Exchange will bring together many of Europe's top audience experts in Stockholm on 6 October to discuss and share ideas around the subject "Reaching Young Audiences: the fragmented media landscape as an opportunity for Public Service Media."

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and discover the latest projects and publications from respected knowledge centres such as the European Audiovisual Observatory and NORDICOM (Nordic Information Centre for Media and Communication Research), who will both host infopoints at the event.

Media researchers from two of Stockholm's leading universities will also showcase their latest work, while data companies IHS and Eurodata TV Worldwide will offer attendees a look at their most recent research.

Among the speaker lineup, representatives from TNS-Sifo, Radio Results International and the Hans-Bredow Institute will present the findings of their projects on young audiences, including specific sessions focused on Radio and News.

Dr. Roberto Suárez Candel, Head of the EBU's Media Intelligence Service, said: ”By attending the conference, EBU Members and academic scholars will have the opportunity to connect with experts in their field, to exchange views and establish potential collaborative partnerships. If you are into audience research you need to join us in Stockholm.”

Participation is free for EBU Members, however places are filling up fast. To join the discussion, register now at the event website.
