EUROSONIC 2015 launchpad for Euroradio history

The first Internet Protocol (IP) broadcast in the history of the Euroradio music exchanges will take place at the 2015 Eurosonic Festival in partnership with Netherlands broadcaster NPO-3FM.
EBU Euroradio engineers gave the green light to deliver live events through a new IP channel appropriately named ‘Lennon’ after several months of testing.
For Euroradio broadcasters, the development will bring access to an even bigger selection of music in all genres and offer greater broadcast flexibility.
The full list of live concerts on offer from the EUROSONIC Festival in Groningen will be announced at beginning of January.
