Euroradio Jazz Competition announces finalists

EBU Members have selected four ensembles to compete at this year's Euroradio Jazz Competition (EJC) finals. The finalists will perform during a half-hour set open to the public on 6 July at Amsterdam’s stunning Bimhuis.
The EJC is organized in partnership with Dutch Public Radio/NPO Soul & Jazz and the Dutch EJC Foundation. The competition showcases young jazz artists through EBU's Member broadcasters.
A grand prize of EUR 3,000 will be awarded to the winners by a select Grand Jury.
Audio recordings of the semifinals and finals will be made available to EBU Members on the MUS platform for unlimited broadcast until 1 August 2017. The Euroradio offer of the semifinals is already available under reference JM/16/05/02/01-11.
2016 finalists
This year's finalists are:
- Kristina Barta Trio (CR, Czech Republic)
- Súp (RTÉ, Ireland)
- Félix Rossy & Marco Mezquida Duo (ESCAT, Spain)
- Sisters of Invention (SR, Sweden)
