The psychological pressures on journalists are increasingly complex. Distressing images, unfiltered and relentless user generated material, personal abuse - all these factors create a seemingly hostile working environment. How can we move beyond the medical-crisis-after the fact approach and create a trauma-aware organisation, where managers and journalists work together to foster resilience with practical measures for systemic change?
