The largest community of public service media organizations in the world
Ancillary membership is open to broadcasting organizations from a large autonomous linguistic community, situated within a Member country (as referred to in Article 3.3 of the EBU Statutes) and with its own media regulatory system. Organizations must offer that community a broadcasting service in its official local language, of sufficient scale and importance for the EBU. They must also be deemed useful to the Union, taking into account the purposes, values and means of action of the EBU.
