Reflecting the solidarity that underpins our union, we will explore new models for content acquisition, sharing and distribution to secure the right conditions for Members to access world-class audio and video content.

We will support our Members in building strong, diverse, competitive and high-quality linear and on-demand offers. We will support Members in producing news that’s defined by distinctive, quality and ethical journalism and that sets the tone for trustworthy information available to all.

We will make the best use of AI-aided data journalism to uncover and build powerful news stories that have people’s concerns at their core.

Create unique shared experiences through sports and live events

We will grow the EBU’s competitiveness in sports. We will secure global and premium sport rights through the collective strength of Members

We will explore digital and multi-platform solutions that better engage sports fans and meet their growing appetite for shared experiences that build inclusiveness.

We will expand the Eurovision Song Contest, the world’s largest live music event, for a wider global connection. We will continue to build a distinctive entertainment experience that promotes creative talent.

In order to counter competition from digital platform operators and global content providers we will promote an open mind to strategic and innovative alliances and coalitions, including with historic media competitors.
