32nd International URTI Grand Prix for Author’s Documentary

The International Radio and Television Union has been organising since 1981 an annual competition destined to reward – in the exclusive field of the author’s documentary – the television productions corresponding the better to the goals pursued by URTI.

  1. First international audiovisual grand prix
    85 countries, 182 television channels,  255 documentaries in competition in 2012. Partnership of UNESCO and of international audiovisual organizations
 
  1. Free registration
    Documentaries selected and presented in competition for free by the television channels from all over the world
 
  1. Two Juries of thirty professionals
    Preselection Jury and final Jury made up of about thirty delegates from television channels members of the URTI
 
  1. URTI Grand Prix awarded with US$ 5,000
    Four awards given, among which the URTI Grand Prix (Arman Trophy) presented to the director of the best documentary with US$ 5,000
 
  1. Promotion of the finalists in more than 100 countries
    Leaflet widely distributed globally to promote the selling of the broadcast rights of the ten finalist programmes
