Big Data Conference 2017

EBU's Big Data Week is back following a successful first edition in March 2016. Since then, our Big Data Initiative has grown in strength with more EBU Members involved than ever sharing best practices on the legal, technical and societal challenges for Europe's public service media. 

Our Big Data Conference will bring together heads of digital, marketing, communications and legal alongside technologists and academics to share best practices for big data media strategies.

It will be a unique occasion to strengthen and expand the EBU Big Data community, actively engage Members and discuss major questions for public service media (PSM), such as how to make best use of recommendation tools, develop approaches to big data which reflect PSM values and how to better engage with younger audiences.

The EBU will also host the Digital Next event in collaboration with EGTA (European Trade Association of TV & Radio Sales Houses) during Big Data week on 23 March in Geneva.
