SPECIAL NOTE

After assessing the escalating situation of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we have taken the very difficult decision to cancel the 26th EBU Sports Assembly, scheduled for 12-13 March in Malta.

With the health and safety of delegates our paramount concern, this decision was taken in consultation with the Sports Assembly Chairman, Runar Østmo; Vice Chairs: Natalia Tolkacheva (RTR, Russia), Yolanda Garcia Cuevas (TVE, Spain), Jan Olsson (SVT, Sweden), Marek Szkolnikowski (TVP, Poland) and the Executive Director of Eurovision Sport, Stefan Kuerten. We were also in close consultation with our host PBS. 

The next Sports Assembly will take place on Wednesday 30 September 2020 and Thursday 1 October 2020 (location TBC).
