Collaborative diversity initiatives

The session, moderated by Simon Webb, Director of the BBC Philharmonic, will be opened by Tinatin Berdzenishvili, Director General of GBP and Chair of the EBU Gender and Equality Steering Group, and followed by presentations by Lara Joannides, Project Lead of 50:50 The Equality Project, BBC, on How Data Can Drive Cultural Change, and Bruno Laforestrie, Director of Mouv' at Radio France, about the Hip-hop Symphonic Project.

In the second part of the session, there will be a panel discussion on how diversity can add value to an artistic proposal, with Lisa Treagle, Director of the BBC National Orchestra & Chorus of Wales, Elle-Kari Höjeberg, Channel Manager P2 at Swedish Radio, and Natalie Taylor, viola player and Diversity Forum member for the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
