This year’s International Broadcasting Assembly (IBA) will take place at the EBU Brussels office on 19 and 20 May. We are very excited to welcome you in person for a meeting with plenty of networking opportunities during the coffee breaks and dinner.

If you are not able to travel to Brussels you will be able to connect online, but we encourage your participation onsite.

We will begin the meeting with our traditional ‘tour de table’, where each participant can give a short update on the latest developments. Then, we will hear about initiatives by Members to support EBU’s Ukrainian Member, UA:PBC, and the Ukrainian people, as well as how the EBU coordinated support. We will address satellite distribution with presentations by Hispasat and RTVE, and have a special session about the safety of journalists with guests from the Council of Europe, UNESCO and the European Federation of Journalists.

We will also review IBA’s work over the last year and set priorities for 2022-2023.

The IBA brings together EBU Members that transmit internationally (TV, radio and online) to discuss and share strategic challenges and identify areas of mutual support, assistance and knowledge. Learn more on the group page.
