Classical Presenters and Social Media
How do classical presenters make use of social media to promote their programmes? Do they privilege one platform more than another? Do some organizations have guidelines? And if you don’t use social media, where do you start? Earlier this year, EBU Music ran a survey about Advocacy and Marketing among classical music radio channels. We’ll have a glimpse to some data specifically related to presenters’ activity with Julijus Grickevicius (EBU), and Linda McGlynn (RTÉ) will outline how lyric fm uses social media. We’ll then open a discussion on how you as a presenter and your organization use social platforms… or how you can start!
