- The Lead Broadcaster is responsible for pitching the project to colleagues in person and as such the presence of the broadcaster’s representative (preferably the commissioner) is mandatory.
- Production teams are welcome to attend and be part of the live pitch as well, but their attendance in person is NOT mandatory. If they cannot attend in person, they are welcome to submit a pre-recorded pitch.
- There are no facilities for remote attendance.
- Each pitch will be followed by a Q&A session for those in the room only; If the production team is not able to join in person, the Lead Broadcaster will take questions.
- When joining physically, production teams members will only be able to attend during the time block of their pitches (please refer to the attached agenda). They will not be able to stay for the lunches and for the group discussions which are strictly for the EBU Documentary Group members/Broadcasters’ representatives.
- All pitches related costs will need to be supported by either the Lead Broadcaster or filmmakers directly.
Please note that registration to the EBU meeting doesn’t grant access to IDFA and IDFA Forum, for which event(s) a proper accreditation will be needed. Please visit IDFA’s website to learn more. Commissioning editors will be contacted directly by IDFA’s organizers on a case-by-case basis to organize individual meetings with producers.
