EBU’s 75th Anniversary

Public service media bringing their best for Europe

For 75 years, the EBU has brought audiences together through a shared love of sports, storytelling, and culture. From comprehensive sports and news coverage to fiction that reflects the diversity of Europe, the EBU and our public service media Members have been a cornerstone of quality programming as well as a hub of innovation developing new ways for audiences to engage with our content. The Eurovision Song Contest, a beloved event that has united millions through music for decades, is another major highlight over the years.

This milestone celebration will shine a spotlight on our achievements, but also look to the future with the AI tools that underpin our work today as well as a glimpse at the fiction series of tomorrow. Join us on March 19, to celebrate 75 years of broadcasting and innovation that has brought people together through entertainment, creativity, and community.
