Fiction Experts Plenary Meeting 2026

After four successful editions, EBU Fiction will return to Rome, Italy, for the 2026 sequel of its Experts Plenary Meeting, which will take place on Tuesday 20 October and Wednesday 21 October (morning) 2026.

Thanks to our partner and host, we will be meeting again in Rome in the framework of MIA | Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo, a premier market event held in Rome, Italy, celebrating its 12th edition in 2026, from 19 to 23 October.

Over the coming weeks, the EBU Fiction Experts Group Members will be busy putting together the agenda for the meeting, which will be communicated soon. In the meantime, you are already invited to block these dates in your agendas.

Attendance policy

The Fiction Experts plenary is a closed-door meeting exclusively for EBU Members' representatives.

Attendance for the meeting is free of charge.

Registrations will open in early September.

EBU Members' drama representatives are invited to attend MIA (incl. the Drama Co-Production Market), taking advantage of a preferential rate (180 € + VAT). Check MIA’s website to learn more or keep an eye on this page for further information in due time.
