Bratislava, February 10 (TASR) - Miloslava Zemkova became the first-ever Slovak Radio and Television (RTVS) Director General on Thursday.

Zemkova will head the new public broadcaster RTVS, which came into existence on 1 January after a merger of Slovak Television (STV) and Slovak Radio (SRo).

She held the job of Slovak Radio director from 2006 to 2010, and prior to that she was general manager of FUN RADIO GROUP holding, co-owner of FUN MEDIA, s.r.o., RADIO SERVIS, s.r.o., FUN AIR, s.r.o., FUNSERVER, s.r.o and Supervisory Board Chairman of RADIO from 1999 to 2005.
