04 July 2012
The EBU Partnership Programme and BBC Media Action have mounted a workshop designed to improve coverage of Libyan elections scheduled for 7 July.
More than 40 radio and TV reporters from across Libya took part in the training, which was facilitated by the country's High National Election Commission.
The workshop covered such topics as editorial guidelines and the legal framework, interview techniques, creative storytelling and efficient production planning, and basic skills necessary even under critical conditions in the field.
