Executive Programme: Record number of top executives enrol for Class of 2015

School’s in for 21 talented media directors who’ve signed up for the second Executive Programme developed by the EBU’s corporate training division Eurovision ACADEMY.

Public media are under ever increasing pressure to service their public with tighter budgets and challenging audience demands.

The course, which is being delivered in partnership with two of the world's top business schools, IESE in Barcelona and New York, and UCLA Anderson in Los Angeles, was launched to expressly help broadcasters consider new ways in which the industry may develop, without losing sight of their public service remit.

The first module, at the IESE campus (2-4 June), explored essential themes for media companies such as how to develop a digital mindset; how to create value in a service organization, and the impact of mobile on media.

Student feedback

‘This first module exceeded all expectations’ – Tommy Nagra, Head of Channel Development & Partnerships at the BBC, (UK).

‘Unique; an extremely useful and unforgettable experience’ – Sergejs Nesterovs, Member of Management Board, Content Strategy at Public Latvia Television.

‘The first module of the course was inspiring and skillfully planned to create insights and open minds’ – Ami Malmros, Program Chief at UR (Sweden).

The week will be complemented by two further modules: Los Angeles in September and New York in October.
