Eurovision Academy's first Master Class on Design thinking was attended by 15 participants from RTBF, VRT, Czech Radio, DR, Deutsche Welle, SVT, Sveriges Radio, SRF, ZDF and DUNA. The event was hosted at the Royal College of Art Kensington Campus in London on March 8-9.

Prof. Jeremy Myerson holder of the Helen Hamlyn Chair of Design at the Royal College of Art introduced the methodology of Design Thinking through examples taken from best practices in media. By taking different roles such as the Anthropologist, the Experimenter or the Cross pollinator, Design Thinking is a powerful tool for professionals who need to solve complex problems with innovative solutions.

Josef El Mahdi, Project Manager/Editor at Sveriges Radio noted: “The training here at the Royal College of Art gave me some new tools to tackle complex tasks, using design process as means of generating ideas and visualizing creative solutions. I can highly recommend the course!”

Sergio Luque Gonzalez, Social Media Coordinator at RTBF thought “it was a real revelation and a really inspiring new way to see, analyse and create innovative things.”

The Eurovision Academy will organize another Master Class on Design with the Royal College of Art in November 2017.
