Spring is here - and so is the Euroradio Spring and Easter Project!

Springtime means longer days, the first flowers, budding trees – and Euroradio's annual Spring and Easter Folk Project. For the 2017 edition of this ever popular offer, some 22 Euroradio stations are providing samples of traditional Easter and spring music from their countries to EBU Members and Associates. The compilation, now available in MUS under reference FM/17/03/03/01, ranges from traditional Saami chant from Finland (known as yoik) sung by a reindeer rancher or field songs from Latvia and Serbia, to an Easter sequence hymn from Croatia and an Irish love song accompanied by a fiddle and flute band.

The names of the performing artists and titles of their works can be found here. For detailed explanations on each work, click here.
