Pascal Crittin has been appointed as the new Director General of Swiss Member RTS.
Pascal Crittin has held senior management positions at RTS for the last 15 years. He was Director of Espace 2 and Secretary General of RSR before taking over RTS’s General Affairs Department, a position he has held for seven years. He also manages the RTS implementation project on the EPFL campus.
In introducing Pascal Crittin, Board Chairman Jean-François Roth highlighted his excellent knowledge of the Swiss French media landscape and his experience of radio and television issues as well as digital platforms.
A confirmed musician, pianist, organist and choirmaster, Crittin spent his childhood in Saint-Maurice, where he studied classics. With a master's degree in musicology and classics from the University of Fribourg, he began his career at Editions Saint-Augustin in Saint-Maurice, where he soon became the director.
Crittin succeeds Gilles Marchand who takes over as Director General of SSR in October 2017. He will take up his duties on 1st May 2017.
