Eurovision Connect Awards highlight Best Public Media Promos

The 2017 Eurovision Connect awards have taken place in Ljubljana (May 22), organized in collaboration with RTVSLO. The ceremony was part of an annual event that pays tribute to the best in public service media advertising.
Around 170 media marketing professionals from across Europe gathered for the awards as part of the 2-day Eurovision Connect event which explores innovation, creativity and excellence in broadcast marketing in all its forms, traditional and new.
RAI, France Télévisions and VRT received the highest number of awards.
Other trophy winners included BBC for Best Promo of a Cultural Programme – “Conceptual Arts Season”, ARD NDR for Best Editing Based on Existing Material – “Expeditions into the Animal Kingdom – Wild Scandinavia”, SVT for Best Overall Programme or Special Event Branding/Promotion – “No Stupid Questions - Ask Lund!”.
