Content Exchange within the EBU refers to the non-commercial exchange of content to which EBU Members own or can license rights.
Within the framework of the Eurovision TV Programme Exchange, the EBU periodically circulates calls for Content Offers to its Members. During an open call, EBU Members may offer programmes by submitting required programme information via an online form.
This information is then circulated to EBU Members’ acquisitions, who may screen and request programmes from the catalogue during a limited window.
Following the closure of this window, a selection of the most-requested programmes is made and the broadcast assets are requested, and delivered.
The EBU offers a file transfer platform for the delivery of programme assets, and a standard collective license agreement.
Programme offers may be made at any time and they will be included in the next quarterly catalogue of Content Offers. Please use the Content Offers form to submit these.
