Pitching session for Science, Discovery, Knowledge and History projects

Eurovision Science & Knowledge is organising a pitching session for Science, Discovery, Knowledge and History projects on 25 June 2014, in La Rochelle (France), in the framework of the 25th anniversary edition of Sunny Side of the Doc, the international factual market.
We are looking for:

Ambitious projects, aimed at prime time international audience.
In particular: Programmes that can enhance awareness in a compelling, story-driven way in the fields of Science, Discovery, Knowledge and History.
If you have any projects in development you wish to submit:
- Please fill in the below form (one for each project)
- Add a treatment (maximum 4 pages)
- Send the documents to simha@ebu.ch by 14 April 2014 at the latest
Members from the Eurovision Science & Knowledge group will evaluate all projects received paying particular attention to the following criteria:
- Originality
- Relevance
- International appeal
- Feasibility
- A special attention will be given to projects that have a cross media approach
Projects will ONLY be accepted if submitted by their respective Commissioning Editor, from an EBU member broadcaster, whose presence at the pitch is compulsory. Single pitches will last max 15 minutes, including trailer (to be made available two weeks before the event) and Q&As. The pitching language is English. |
By 16 May at the latest to appear in the Sunny Side of the Doc’ Catalogue.
