Documentary Experts Meeting & Pitching Sessions - 2025 Spring Session

The 2025 Spring sequel of the EBU Documentary Experts meeting/pitching session will take place at HRT headquarters (Croatian Radiotelevision) in Zagreb on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 June 2025 at the kind invitation of HRT.

Here is the list of projects to be pitched, both as part of the EDS framework and as REGULAR ones.

Attendance policy:

• The Lead Broadcaster is responsible for pitching the project to colleagues in person.
• Production teams are welcome to attend and participate in the live pitch as well; however, their attendance in person is NOT mandatory. If they cannot be present, they may submit a pre-recorded pitch (max. 7 min), which must include a trailer.
• Each pitch will be followed by a Q&A session for those in the room only.
• Remote attendance is not possible.
• If the production team is not attending, the Lead Broadcaster will handle all questions. Any unanswered questions will be followed up on after the session.
• All pitch-related costs will need to be supported by either the Lead Broadcaster or filmmakers directly.
• When attending in person, Independent Producers may only be present during their pitches (please refer to the attached agenda). They cannot attend lunches or group discussions, which are exclusively for EBU Documentary Group members/broadcasters’ representatives.

• The meeting will take place at HRT (Croatian Radiotelevision) - Prisavlje 3, 10000 Zagreb / Croatia

Travelling to and from Zagreb Airport

• Tickets can be purchased online (check the link above) or directly from the bus driver (cash only) – the price for a one-way ticket is €8.
• From the Central Bus Terminal (Autobusni kolodvor) you should take a tram no 5 (direction Prečko) which will take you to the tram stop Miramarska and from there you have a 3 minute walk to the Hotel International.
• You can also take a taxi from the airport (approximately 33 €) or from the Central Bus Terminal.
