The AIDI Spotlights are a series of monthly events hosted each time by Members, where they invite their peers to discover how they work with AI and data, exchange on their latest projects and present their teams. These events provide an opportunity to get to know the people behind the logos, foster new ideas, exchange knowledge, discuss best practice and share aspirations.

On 30 May 2022, the Artificial Intelligence and Data Initiative (AIDI) put a spotlight on the Belgian public broadcaster VRT and their current work-in-progress on AI and data.

  • AI in Data & Intelligence - Emilie Nenquin (Head of Data & Intelligence team) & Koen Muylaert (Head of Data Platform)
  • AI in the Newsroom - Rik Bauwens (Lead developer at VRT Innovation)
  • Introducing AI at VRT through VRT Sandbox Startup Accelerator Projects - Trees De Bruyne (Startup coordinator at VRT Sandbox)
